I chose the name Water Over Stone for my massage therapy studio because it reflects the way I feel about my work. Water is a powerful force. It can sculpt and shape the hardest of rocks. But water's power is gentle and gradual.
Stress and tension build up in the body, making muscles hard and rock-like. Massage acts like water over stone. It is a gentle and powerful ebb and flow wearing away at stress and tension in the body.
